Please note: We have a minimum order value of £100 for wedding cakes and £40 for celebration, birthday cakes and £20 for chocolate favours.

Consultations can only take place when booked. Our consultations are for 2 persons only at no charge and last approx. 1 hour.  The cake design will be discussed and we will send you a quote via email within 8 days of your appointment. The quote will contain payment details, dates & amounts due if you choose to accept it.

At a cake tasting consultation you can taste 3 cake flavours with different fillings and icings.  Cake flavours will need to be known 1 week prior to booking. 

​

Consultations both include tea/coffee. Appointments for a Saturday need to be booked 3 weeks in advance.

To secure your cake booking we require a 'Save the Date' Booking Fee to be paid within 2 weeks from receipt of quote.

Wedding cake: £100

Cakes over £100:  £30

Cakes under £100:  £20

Your requested date will not be secure until we have received the initial cleared funds. You may pay the balance earlier if you so wish. A receipt will be sent to your email address within 10 days of each payment.

If you fail to secure your date with the booking fee, your date will be released and may be freely taken by another customer.

By paying your Booking Fee you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. Booking fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable.  Once paid you, the customer, and Chezzanna Choc n Bakes have entered into a legally binding contract.

All payments are non-refundable unless Chezzanna Choc n Bakes sees fit to return partial monies paid, for example, if informed of cancellation promptly & in good time to re-allocate the date to another customer.

​

At present we only accept bank transfers and cash.  Cheques, made payable to Anna Rogers, will need to be cleared before releasing the order. Chezzanna Choc n Bakes bank details will be sent via email when quotation is accepted.  Once payment has been received, a receipt will be sent via email.

​

Failure to complete payment 1 month prior to your event may result in your order being cancelled.

Failure to complete payment 2 weeks prior to your event will result in your order being cancelled.

We will endeavour to accommodate any amendments to a cake, but please be aware, this may incur extra charges. If preparation has already commenced, it is unlikely any alterations can be made. If in the unfortunate event of you cancelling your order up to 6 months before your event you will be refunded in full minus a 40% admin fee. If in the unfortunate event of you cancelling your order within 1 month of your event no monies can be refunded. If in the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, we will aim to give you as much notice as possible & try to arrange a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept our suggested alternative, we will refund the full price of your order minus the consultation charge.

PLEASE NOTE ~ If booking your Wedding cake more than 12 months in advance, your quote may be subject to price fluctuations due to an increase/decrease of costs (We cap any increased charge to no more than £50).  We reserve the right to alter our prices at any time.

Changes can be made up to 1 month before your event

Cake stands are hired free of charge but we do ask for an £100.00 deposit, which will be refunded on return of the cake stand undamaged and within 3 days of delivery/pick up date. You are responsible for returning the stand to us within this time frame. The cake stand can be returned either by person to Chezzanna Choc n Bakes HQ or sent by post (using an insured postage method.

If the stand is received back with any damage, missing parts or unfit for future use, we will retain the whole deposit. Many venues have their own cake stands which you can enquire prior to asking for ours. 

 

Allergens: All ingredients are of the highest quality. Please be aware, cakes and chocolates are made in an environment that handles soya, nuts, peanuts, nut products, dairy, wheat, gluten, celery.  Chezzanna Choc n Bakes accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions after eating our cakes and/or chocolate.  It is up to the customer to inform guests of any allergens that may be present.  Chezzanna Choc n Bakes cannot accept responsibility for any cross-contamination following purchase. If the cake or are chocolate are collected from us, we cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products once they have left our premises.

Please Note - occasionally your cake may not be exactly as discussed/sketched/any example picture or as you see it in your mind's eye! Colours may vary slightly, as using edible dusts & pastes will not be a perfect match to fabric, ribbons or fresh flowers.
If in the unlikely event of you being unhappy with your cake, we ask that it be returned to us within 24 hours, enabling us to assess & rectify any problems.

We cannot replicate another cake-maker’s work due to work ethic, but we are happy to use photographs as inspiration. Colours can be recreated as closely as possible, but due to the nature of the materials we work with, an absolute match is by no means guaranteed. Sketches, written descriptions or illustrations are only ever intended as an approximation of the finished product and remain the property of Chezzanna Choc n Bakes.

Fresh flowers are not included in the cost of any wedding cake design. If a wedding cake is to be dressed with fresh flowers then they should be provided by your florist. Chezzanna Choc n Bakes will not decorate a cake with fresh flowers, unless using edible flowers from a properly certified source. Please be aware that certain flowers are not suitable for use as a cake decoration. Please ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. Chezzanna Choc n Bakes will not be held liable for contamination to our product that may arise from their misuse.

Chezzanna Choc n Bakes offer a delivery and set up service for wedding cakes only within a 10-mile radius of our company HQ. This is included in your quotation, and£1/mile round trip thereafter. Please ensure that you provide us with the correct venue address & postcode for delivery/set-up and to inform the venue that we will be there on the date of event to set the cake up 2-3 hours prior to your wedding/party start time.  Once the cake is set up, photo’s will be taken for our portfolio as it is our right, as our product, to use in advertising or to put on social media.  The photos will also be our proof that we left the cake in perfect condition and there will be no fault to our company if, during the time we leave the venue to when you view the cake, there is any damage, we cannot be held liable and this will be a matter to address to your venue coordinator. If you are unable to be at the delivery address & request the cake is left in a suitable place or you wish your cake to be accepted by someone on your behalf, this is your responsibility.  We will not be liable if it does not arrive with you safely once we have dropped it off. This all applies to the wedding favours.
